Competitive (DOE) A well-established commercial vehicle business in Livingston is looking to recruit an experienced HGV Mechanic to join its busy workshop team. The Role Youll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and MOT preparation of HGVs, helping to keep vehicles compliant, roadworthy, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Perform diagnostics and fault-finding Complete MOT preparation and pre-inspection checks Identify and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime Carry out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements Maintain accurate records of work completed Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and turnaround times

What Were Looking For Qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic (essential) Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance, diagnostics, and repair

Experience with MOT prep and commercial vehicle compliance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Reliable, organised, and professional
