HGV Technician

A busy and well-established company in Derby is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their expanding team. This is a highly rewarding role offering a mix of workshop and mobile work, perfect for a hands-on professional looking for variety and career growth.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

* Servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs

* Diagnostics and fault finding on commercial vehicles

* Working on-site at the company workshop and on mobile service calls

* Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards

This role offers the chance to develop skills across both workshop and mobile operations in a supportive and professional environment.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

* Every other Saturday:
Half day

Salary & Benefits

* £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

* Mix of workshop and mobile work for variety

Candidate Requirements

* Proven HGV technician experience

* Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills

* Ability to work independently on mobile assignments and in a team in the workshop

* Full UK driving licence (ideally with C1/E category for larger vehicles)
