We are seeking a skilled Plater to join our client in Ripley, Derbyshire. You'll be instrumental in the manufacturing of bespoke precision components and contributing to high-quality engineering projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Marking out, cutting material and producing weld preps

Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders

Working to tight tolerances and specific measurements

Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in plating within an engineering or manufacturing environment

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent certification preferred

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Skilled in MIG welding would be a bonus
