Are you an experienced Production Team Lead looking for a permanent role with a well-established manufacturer serving high-performance sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, and Motorsport? Do you have strong leadership experience in composites, aerospace, or manufacturing environments?

We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee trimming, fitting, bonding, and assembly operations. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery across the Trim & Fit area.

The Role
As Production Team Lead, you will:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Fit & Trim Operators
Manage day-to-day Trim & Fit operations on the shop floor
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and customer standards
Drive continuous improvement and implement best-practice manufacturing methods
Minimise rework and scrap while improving production flow and efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to support smooth production operations

We are seeking a proactive, people-focused leader with strong technical experience in composites:

Proven experience in a Trim & Fit composites environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Hands-on experience trimming and fitting prepreg materials
Confident communicator with strong problem-solving ability
Results-driven with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
Salary & Benefits

Competitive annual salary: £35,000–£45,000
Day shift: 8:00am–4:30pm
