Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team.

Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description

Assembly and Riveting of Sheet metal components in accordance with relevant procedures.
Ability to read and understand data cards and drawings to the level required for machine set up and operation.
Set up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
Complete riveting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
Skilled in the use of riveting equipment, measuring equipment and hand tools.
Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, etc.
Use of all measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Demonstratable experience working with sheet metal/assembling parts/components, using a range of manufacturing hand tools, equipment, or machinery (riveting, countersinking, air tools, air grinders, drilling, trimming etc)
Must have a keen eye for detail
Self-driven, and motivated
