About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you will lead improvement initiatives, analyse performance data, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable results. The Continuous Improvement Manager will champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
Salary : £42 000-£45 000
£42,000 Starting Salary.
4 Targets set during Probation Review with £500 reward on completion of targets.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (42.5)
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities across warehousing and transport operations
* Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage improvement projects from concept through to implementation
* Analyse operational data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making
* Develop performance metrics and report progress to senior management
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Ensure improvements align with quality, safety, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process optimisation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (certification desirable)
* Confident working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Experience with in logistics, warehousing, or distribution is advantageous
Qualifications
* Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or similar
* Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
* Project Management certification (PMP) desirable
