A Senior Software Developer is required to join a delivery-focused Service Team working for a global name, maintaining and evolving live software systems that support client solutions. This is a hands-on, client-facing role, ideal for someone with 3+ years’ commercial experience who enjoys working on production systems and delivering improvements that directly impact clients. Candidates must have or be eligible for SC clearance.

Role Highlights

Maintain, enhance and deploy production applications using Python, JavaScript/Type Script, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Develop new features, improvements, and integrations based on client feedback, service metrics, or evolving requirements
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve live system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to clients
Participate in agile delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and service review meetings
Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, engineers, and analysts, presenting technical updates clearly and professionally
Support automation of monitoring, testing, and deployment pipelines, contributing to CI/CD and Dev Ops practices
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure applications remain secure, performant, and aligned with service-level objectives (SLOs/SLAs)
Contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery processes, technical standards, and team practices
