Project Co-ordinator
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
A growing IT services business is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to support its internal and client-facing projects team. This is a key administrative role focused on organisation, documentation and communication rather than technical delivery, so you do not need an IT background to be successful.
If you enjoy structure, keeping people organised and making sure projects run smoothly, this could be a great fit.
The Role
Working alongside Project Leads, Engineers, Account Managers and the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are properly documented, planned and communicated.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Updating and maintaining project documentation including project plans, reports, risk logs and action trackers
* Scheduling meetings, workshops, technical reviews and client updates
* Taking clear meeting notes, capturing actions and making sure follow-ups are completed
* Supporting time tracking, resource planning and capacity forecasting
* Updating project schedules and work items in Autotask PSA
* Preparing reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and clients
* Monitoring project progress and flagging delays or risks
* Assisting with change control, release documents and project governance
* Acting as a central point of contact between technical teams, suppliers and customers
This is a varied and fast-paced role where strong organisation and communication skills are essential.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a Project Co-ordinator, Project Support, Administrator, PMO or similar role
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator, able to work with internal teams, vendors and clients
* Comfortable managing multiple moving parts and keeping people on track
* Good written skills for documentation and reporting
* Positive, proactive approach to problem solving
* Experience with project tools (Autotask, Jira, Monday, MS Project etc.) is helpful but not essential
* An interest in developing a career in project delivery
Why join?
* Join a friendly and supportive team in a growing IT services business
* Clear progression opportunities into Project Lead roles
* A stable company with a strong client base
* A role where you’ll directly support improvements in project delivery and internal processes
