We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well‑established and growing organisation within the rail sector, who are looking for an experienced HR Project Lead to drive and deliver key people initiatives across the business. Working closely with the senior HR leadership team, this role will focus on aligning HR projects with wider strategic objectives while ensuring strong operational delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware HR professional with strong project experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys leading change, improving processes, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities- Leading and delivering a range of HR projects including organisational change, policy development, engagement initiatives, and learning and development programmes
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and company policies
- Supporting and improving HR systems, processes, and reporting to enhance efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making
- Overseeing HR compliance activities, including payroll coordination and ensuring accurate employee records
- Partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to align people initiatives with business strategy
- Proven experience leading or delivering HR projects within a fast‑moving environment
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and advising senior stakeholders
- Confident influencing and engaging with managers across multiple sites or departments
- CIPD qualified or working towards
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00
