Finance Business Partner

What you'll be doing

Owning the day to day finance partnering for a group of schools/academies, acting as their go to for finance queries
Supporting the build of annual budgets and medium term forecasts, and helping leaders understand the "why" behind the numbers
Producing monthly management accounts with meaningful narrative, highlighting risks/opportunities and recommending actions
Tracking spend, investigating variances, and advising on forecasting and cost control where needed
Assisting with scenario modelling (e.g., staffing changes, curriculum/resource decisions) to support operational planning
Contributing to Trust/organisation‑wide process improvements, consistent ways of working, and stronger financial governance
Supporting education‑sector returns and statutory reporting requirements (where relevant)
Coaching non‑finance stakeholders on good financial practice-improving confidence and capability at school level
