Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified L3 Electrical Engineer for a 3-month temporary contract based within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Kegworth, Derby. This role is critical for ensuring the operational uptime and safety of large-scale automated systems and electrical infrastructure.
Role Overview
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour.
Hours:
40 hours per week.
Contract Type:
Temporary (3-month duration).
Location:
Kegworth, Derby.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair:
Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to all electrical systems to meet agreed service levels.
Fault Finding:
Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve electrical faults in high-pressure warehouse environments.
Systems Management:
Maintain and understand site plant and systems, ensuring all electrical issues are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.
Compliance:
Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks in a timely manner, ensuring that comprehensive maintenance records are kept up to date and compliant.
Health & Safety:
Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all company and site-specific safety policies.
Requirements
Technical
Qualification:
Must hold a recognized Level 3 Electrical Qualification (C&G 2360 or equivalent).
Regulations:
Current C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations is essential.
Testing & Inspection: C&Gor equivalent) Test and Inspection certificate.
Experience:
Proven experience working with structured PPM delivery within commercial or industrial settings.
Soft Skills:
A calm manner with the ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with team members.
