Associate Civil Engineer£65,000 - £70,000DerbyWorking with a talented team of Chartered, mid-level and graduate engineers, a client of ours are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, experienced Civil Engineer to lead the Civils Team in the Derby Office.

Working on a broad range of projects, this high-performing team of professionals is looking for an engineer who aspires to work on a diverse and challenging range of projects, incorporating bespoke new build, refurbishment, and heritage works. The Role: Providing high-quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design on projects requiring highway and drainage design.

Carrying out a range of drainage calculations, including QBar, attenuation storage, and soakaway sizing, foul loads, pipeline capacities and network analysis for a range of drainage applications.

Carrying out a range of adoptable and non-adoptable highway, driveway, car parking, and footpath structural pavement designs for a range of permeable and non-permeable surfaces Overseeing the preparation of S104, S106 and S185 application forms and associated packages for submission to the Drainage Authority and Planning Authority.

Report writing, e.g. Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy Reports, etc Selling, marketing and business development of new and existing clients and being alert to new leadsWhat we're looking for: Confidence and ability with team and project management

Extensive experience with drainage and highway design software
