Civil Engineer – Derby

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 2–4 years of UK consultancy experience to join our team in Derby. This role offers real design responsibility and exposure to major UK development projects, with clear support for career progression within a highly experienced civil engineering team.

Salary: GBP
30,000 – GBP
38,000 plus benefits.

• Assisting with highway design including S38 and S278 works
• Preparing drainage strategies and detailed designs for S104 and S185 submissions
• Producing SuDS layouts and earthworks information
• Preparing drawings and reports using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Info Drainage
• Liaising with architects, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting Flood Risk Assessments and planning submissions
• Assisting with project coordination and technical quality control

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2 to 4 years UK consultancy experience
• Good knowledge of highways and drainage design
• Confidence using AutoCAD and drainage software
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
