Teacher Active are proud to be working alongside a wonderful Primary school around the Derby area. They are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join their fantastic team. The Primary school has a very family-centred feel and strives to help children learn in a fun environment.

The successful candidate must be confident and an experienced SEN teaching assistant. The role will include supporting children with emotional needs, 1:1 support for children with challenging behaviour but also helping all the other pupils and staff around you. You will need to have experience working with children with SEN and adapt well to different environments.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2, Level 3 or HLTA qualification in TA (Desirable)
Experience working in key stage 1/KS1 and KS2/key stage 2.
The ability to adapt to unexpecting demands
Experience working in a SEN setting
