We are searching for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a school in Derby, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils as they develop core literacy, numeracy, and foundational learning skills.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate Year 1 Teacher who can create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment during this important stage of primary education.

The Role:

Plan and deliver creative and structured lessons across the curriculum
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Build confidence in reading, writing, and mathematics
Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

What You’ll Bring :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
Strong understanding of early primary education and curriculum delivery
Effective classroom management and communication skills
Patient, organised, and supportive teaching approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
