Full-time, Permanent About the School A newly established independent special school in the East Midlands caters for up to 30 young people aged 916 with Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a school from its inception, shaping its vision, values, curriculum, and culture from the ground up.

The Role:

We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Headteacher with a strong background in special education to:
Develop and implement a high-quality, individualised curriculum Recruit, lead, and inspire a small, dedicated staff team Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and educational outcomes Build positive relationships with parents, local authorities, and external stakeholders About You Experienced senior leader within SEN provision (Autism/SEMH experience highly desirable) Qualified Teacher with a proven track record in school leadership Passionate about inclusive education and improving life chances for young people Able to establish and embed a culture of care, respect, and achievement
