The RoleAs an ECT in Geography, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to observe and contribute to Key Stage 5 lessons as your confidence develops.
- Deliver well‑sequenced lessons aligned to a knowledge‑rich curriculum
- Teach a balanced programme of physical, human and environmental geography
- Support GCSE preparation through structured revision and modelling
- Use assessment data to inform planning and targeted intervention
- Contribute to fieldwork planning and enrichment opportunities
The department places strong emphasis on disciplinary thinking — helping students understand not only geographical content but how geographers analyse data, interpret case studies and evaluate environmental issues.
