Are you an ambitious and innovative DT Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity at a leading independent school? A highly regarded private school in Derby is seeking a talented Design & Technology Teacher to begin in February 2026.

About the DT DepartmentThe department is a well-established and collaborative team equipped with modern workshops, digital manufacturing equipment, and a design studio. Teachers contribute to curriculum development and cross-disciplinary learning.
Responsibilities- Teach DT to KS3/4, with potential KS5
- Deliver engaging and effective practical and theory lessons
- Plan, assess and monitor student progress
- Contribute to curricular development and innovative project work
- Support enrichment activities within the creative arts
- DT, Product Design, Engineering or related degree
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching DT (ECTs also welcome)
- Competitive Independent School salary (MPS/UPS equivalent)
