Lead the Maths Department , overseeing curriculum development, teaching, and student outcomes at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

• Lead and develop the Maths Curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5, ensuring a coherent, challenging, and engaging curriculum.
• Support and mentor Maths teachers in their professional development.
• Monitor and improve student progress and outcomes within the department.
• Take the lead on curriculum planning, ensuring all students receive high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
• Manage the department’s resources and ensure the effective implementation of the Maths curriculum.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with the school’s vision and educational goals.

Degree in Maths or a related subject.

QTS or PGCE in teaching.

Significant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4, with some experience at KS5.

• Proven leadership potential, with experience leading a team or department.
• A strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
