Asbestos Surveyor - Permanent Role - Derby

Salary & Benefits:

£32,000 - £36,000 per annum
£3,000 annual car allowance
27p per mile business mileage
£15 overnight allowance per night away
5% employer pension contribution

We're offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a respected, well-established Health & Safety Consultancy with a national presence. With over 25 years of industry experience, we provide expert services across Asbestos Management, CDM Consultancy, and General Health & Safety, supporting clients across sectors including healthcare, retail, rail, education, property, nuclear, and more.

This role offers national travel and varied working environments, ensuring no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of asbestos surveys
Complete annual re-inspections of known Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs)
Deliver asbestos awareness briefings to clients and teams
Prepare and review comprehensive asbestos survey reports

What We're Looking For:

BOHS P402 (or equivalent) is essential
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a lead surveyor
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Professional, reliable, and flexible in your approach
Comfortable working across different environments - including offices, care homes, construction sites, and more
Willing and able to stay away from home regularly
