Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) – Permanent Role - Derby

We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join a well-established Accident Repair Centre in the Derby area. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with excellent earning potential and long-term stability.

The role – Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator

You will:

Inspect accident-damaged vehicles and assess full repair costs and timescales
Ensure correct repair methods and pricing structures are followed
Manage workflow in line with company and customer targets
Use computerised estimating systems
Liaise with insurers, accident management companies, and customers
Provide updates and ensure excellent customer service throughout

What we’re looking for

Experience using estimating software (ideally Audatex)
ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and as part of a team
