JV Athletic Coaches – Morris County School of Technology
Responsibilities- Teach and demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship and conduct;
- Instruct individual participants in skills and safety guidelines requisite to the sport;
- Plan, organize, and implement a related sports team;
- Develop and facilitate a regular program of practice;
- Work with the Director of Athletics in scheduling contests;
- Maintain the team roster, report scores, and report statistics to the required outlets;
- Distribute and collect athletic equipment;
- Supervise all games and practices and assure safety conditions of practice and contest fields and equipment.
- Willingness to be trained and serve as a medical delegate for student athletes.
- Possession of a valid New Jersey Teacher or Substitute Certificate.
- Compliance with all NJSIAA and MCVSD guidelines (see NJSIAA handbook pg 124-125).
- Preferred playing and/or coaching experience in the respective sport.
