Computer Diagnostic Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Interpret vehicle computer system failure codes and make necessary adjustments to engine and vehicle control modules
- Review and complete repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Accurately document services using fleet maintenance software
- Conduct post-service test drives to ensure safety and performance
- Collaborate with teammates on complex repairs
- Maintain professional, courteous communication with drivers and team members
- Keep work spaces clean and compliant with OSHA standards
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience, preferably with diesel trucks
- Strong skills in electrical and hydraulic systems
- Well-rounded experience in mechanical and welding repairs
- Familiarity with diesel vehicle diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Basic tool set required
- Valid CDL Class B or A license required
- Ability to work independently within a shop environment
