SUMMARYWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead diverse engineering, prototyping, and production initiatives. This position oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple complex programs, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with business development acumen, driving both operational success and strategic growth within the government contracting sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and coordinate all phases of project life cycles including development, prototyping, production, and delivery.
- Establish and monitor schedules, budgets, and milestones to meet customer and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders, including industry and government representatives, to ensure seamless program execution.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, progress briefings, and presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Support engineering and analytical teams by reviewing data, materials, and systems to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and build professional relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to support program goals.
- Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to business growth strategies, including prospect identification and pipeline management.
- Track key performance indicators and metrics using Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Mentor junior technical and analytical staff to promote knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects in a defense or government contracting environment.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering documentation.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense programs, contracts, and compliance requirements.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and site visits.
