CDL A Truck Driver

We are immediately seeking a qualified Class A CDL Truck Driver who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done right and on time. An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries in a semi-truck

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, start time as early as 5am

Routes:
The majority are local routes with some occasional overnights on a Monday or Tuesday. Mountain driving experience is a plus!

Pay: $31/hr

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
• Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customer care team on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.

• Must have a CDL (Class
  
  A) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
• Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
• Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.
• Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
