Passenger Service Agent – Menzies Aviation
As a member of the Menzies Aviation Passenger Service Team, you will be responsible for checking in passengers for flights at the ticket counter and gates; verifying passenger documentation, assigning seats, providing gate information, checking baggage, and assisting passengers with issues in the airport. This individual must adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct (no visible tattoos or excessive piercings).
Location:
Denver, CO. Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year.
- Assist passengers with check‑ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and any other passenger issues in the airport.
- Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
- Host self‑service kiosks.
- Ensure that all work areas are organized.
- Maintain a positive attitude while offering assistance.
- Ensure safe and secure operations.
- Lift and move up to 70 lbs of cargo and baggage; perform bending, stretching, pushing and pulling as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Comfortable lifting 70 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check‑in areas.
- Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
- Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills required.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.

- Follow information, training and workplace safety rules.

- Attend required training courses.
The work environment is primarily indoors but near terminal areas with open doors, exposing staff to weather conditions. Uniform includes a long coat. The role may involve working with upset customers; a positive attitude and effective communication are essential.
Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, sitting; manual handling of items; reaching, climbing, balancing; speaking and hearing. Must lift passenger bags up to 70 lbs, and occasionally move up to 25 lbs regularly.
