Delivery Driver – CDL Class A & B – MCS Landscape Supply – Denver, CO

Delivery driver will make deliveries for Tom B Martinez Trucking and MCS Landscape Supply customers within Colorado state‑wide territory. Drivers are required to complete daily driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and daily loading/unloading tasks. When delivering for Tom B Martinez Trucking, trucks are loaded by clients while drivers approve loading safety.

• Drive a tractor‑trailer combination or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds GVW.
• Unload truck and secure cargo using straps, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle inspection reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform mandatory annual CDL testing and physical.
• Carrying loads of 50–80 lbs and maintaining three points of contact on machinery.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions following signals from loading crew.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and check all load‑related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Read bills of lading to determine assignment details and collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources.
• Drive to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations.
• Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth‑wheel locks.

• Commercial driver’s license (Class A or Class
  
  B) required.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving tractor‑trailers or large trucks.
• No Hazardous Materials, Tank, Doubles/Triples, or Passenger endorsements required.
• Clean driving record: no DUI in last 5–10 years and no more than 3 tickets in last 3 years.
• Company provided DOT physical required.

• Health insurance for full‑time year‑round employees. Seasonal employees do not qualify for benefits.

$18 per hour.
