ATP Flight School, the nation’s largest flight school, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic / A&P Mechanic for the APA Airport location. This position offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified AMTs.

The Aircraft Mechanic role works as a member of a team performing everything from light maintenance to heavy structural repairs on our fixed‑wing aircraft. The right candidate will possess a results‑driven mindset and a collaborative spirit necessary to ensure efficient workflow while keeping safety and quality as non‑negotiable priorities.
Responsibilities- Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repairs in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies on our single‑engine and multi‑engine piston‑powered flight training aircraft.
- Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Two or more years of piston‑powered aircraft maintenance experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
- Possess adequate tools.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (preferred).
- Private pilot’s license (preferred).
- Avionics troubleshooting experience with Garmin integrated avionics (preferred).

Physical Demands- Employee must be able to talk, hear, see, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, persistently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
