The golf facilities include a full-service golf operation featuring a well-maintained practice range, short-game area, putting greens, and a fully stocked golf shop offering premium merchandise and services. The club supports a robust calendar of member tournaments, leagues, instructional programs, and private events, catering to golfers of all skill levels.
Pueblo Country Club is searching for a First Assistant Professional who will focus on assisting with daily golf operations, including tournament operations, junior golf programming, and other player development programs.
Experience Required- PGA Associate or PGA Member in good standing (or actively pursuing PGA Associate Program)
- Minimum 3 years of golf operations experience; private club experience preferred
- Working knowledge of USGA Rules of Golf
- Proficiency with Golf Genius, Clubessential POS, Excel, and USGA GHIN
- Experience running tournaments, including Member-Guest and Member-Member events
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Play a lead role in daily golf operations, including outside services, tee sheet management, and pace of play oversight
- Take responsibility for daily golf shop operations and staff support during assigned shifts
- Help ensure the golf shop provides a professional, welcoming experience for members and guests
- Support golf shop staff with training, scheduling assistance, and day-to-day coverage needs
Serve as a visible presence on the golf course and in the golf shop to ensure smooth daily operations - Lead and assist with tournaments, leagues, and special events as scheduled
