THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced LLM Engineer to join our client's newly established LLM Ops Team in their Denver office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complex lifecycle of Large Language Models from development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
This role is hybrid to the Denver, CO area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Contribute directly to production codebases using AI-assisted development to deliver high-impact solutions
- Quickly ramp into unfamiliar codebases and technical domains to provide effective engineering support
- Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI-augmented development practices across teams
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate AI coding tools to improve developer productivity
- Establish standards and guidelines for AI usage, including prompt practices, code quality, security, and workflow integration
- Develop governance and monitoring frameworks for responsible AI tool usage
- Mentor engineers on effective AI prompt engineering and AI-enabled workflows
- Track, measure, and communicate productivity improvements and success stories
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in real-world development environments
- Strong expertise in .NET and React development
- Experience with cloud-based architectures, with Azure preferred
- Advanced prompt engineering skills and understanding of large language models
- Ability to quickly analyze and contribute to unfamiliar codebases
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
