Job Description
As a senior software engineer, you will be part of the OCI Unified Imaging & Artifacts team, which is going to design, architect, and build best-in-class software architecture.
As a senior member of the team, you will participate in the entire software development lifecycle. You will own and deliver the software design and development for major components and features of the service. You should be both a rock-solid coder and a troubleshooter. You should value simplicity, quality, and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Skills:We are looking for backend developers with 4 years of related experience. Having a strong knowledge of large scale highly available distributed systems is a plus.
Must have a strong knowledge of object-oriented paradigms, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Strong knowledge of Java is preferred and experience in one of languages such as Scala, Python etc is a strong plus.
Experience in micro services architecture, API-driven service-oriented architecture, Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Control Plane is a plus.
Knowledge of Python, Java, and Terraform is a strong plus.
Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized distributed infrastructure is a strong plus.
Experience with build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools

Experience in developing complex solutions, systems integrating various hardware solutions/components

Demonstrated problem-solving ability leveraging AI, distributed systems, and cloud-native application behaviors.
A proactive, experimentation-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and engineering patterns.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
