Software Developer II

Optomi, in partnership with a leading broadband communications company, is seeking a Software Developer II for their Denver, CO location! As a Software Developer, you will join a collaborative development team supporting the full software development lifecycle — from design and coding through testing, deployment, and documentation. The focus is heavily front-end, building visually compelling dashboards and UI experiences from scratch while enhancing existing interfaces.

• Creating visually impressive, highly interactive UI screens and graphics from scratch
• Working on a real-time platform that proactively identifies customer service and network issues
• Contributing to large, high-impact internal initiatives with strong technical ownership
• Deep technical discussions and collaborative design with experienced technical leads

• Hands‑on experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI
• Strong Python experience (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
• Ability to design and build REST APIs including request/response handling, validation, and error handling
• Strong UI/UX sensibility with an eye for design, graphics, and visual presentation
• Experience building new UI features from scratch and enhancing existing interfaces
• Quality of experience and technical depth matter more than years of experience

• Design and build modern, responsive UI screens and dashboards from the ground up
• Enhance and evolve existing front‑end components and user experiences
• Develop and support Python‑based integrations and API services as needed
• Translate business and technical goals into intuitive, visually compelling interfaces
• Collaborate with technical leads during architecture and deep technical discussions
• Support real‑time data visualization to help teams proactively monitor service performance
• Participate in technical design conversations and solution planning
