Senior Systems Software Engineer (Data Path) - Up to $220K Basic Salary - Denver, CO (Hybrid)

This is not a traditional back-end engineering role.

We’re hiring for a global technology leader building high-performance data and storage platforms and they need a senior engineer to design and optimize the Data Path - the core engine of their distributed storage system.

• Low-latency I/O paths from network to disk
• Distributed caching, metadata management and intelligent data placement
• Concurrency-heavy, multi-core optimized systems in C/C++
• Scalable clustered storage architectures

• 8+ years in C/C++ development
• Experience building distributed systems or storage platforms
• Deep understanding of concurrency, async programming and performance optimisation
• Comfortable working in high-availability clustered environments

• NAS protocols (SMB / NFS)

• Up to $220K base
