The Analytics ADC team delivers AWS Analytics cloud services to our customers in isolated, air‑gapped cloud environments. We push the boundaries of cloud computing and data technologies, expanding analytics services across air‑gapped regions, driving automation investments, and delivering open‑source solutions. The team builds massively scalable distributed systems and delivers the next generation of cloud computing with AWS offerings such as Athena, Lake Formation, Redshift, Open Search, Glue, Quick Sight, and Agentic AI services.

• Have strong Linux & networking fundamentals. Deep experience with Linux, preferably in a large‑scale, distributed environment, and a solid understanding of networking technology and server/network inter‑relations.

• Think big. Build and deploy solutions across ADC partitions and regions, aiming to improve and streamline processes for massive‑scale work.
• Work cross‑functionally to foster constructive dialogue, harmonize views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues.
• Love to code. Whether building tools in Java or solving complex system problems in Python, choose the right tool for the right job.
• Develop, build, and operate AWS Agentic AI services that enable customers to optimize their data in isolated environments.
• Support execution of security campaigns (blocked software, host patching) and parity programs.
• Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which AWS work is performed.

As a Systems Development Engineer I, you will build innovative solutions, expand services into ADC regions, and improve operations for resiliency and customer experience. You will influence technical strategy and architectural decisions, contribute to ticket resolution and infrastructure improvements, and demonstrate leadership with bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results.

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
