Job DescriptionJob Title:
Full Stack Python FastAPI Developer
Duration: 9 Months Contract Role
Location:
Denver, CO or Chicago, IL. This role requires onsite attendance 5 days a week.
- Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition
- Perform spikes or proof-of-concept work to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Develop code solutions and unit tests to deliver stories according to acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business layers to design and develop client requirements
- Assist the team in resolving technical complexities related to story implementation
- Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architectural integrity
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites including integration, regression, and performance tests
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tier, distributed transactional applications
- Deep knowledge of Python FastAPI framework or similar technology
- Strong knowledge of Postgre
SQL databases - Deep understanding of Git version control
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with data access technologies and design patterns
- Strong relational database experience, including SQL, data modeling, SQL objects, query optimization, and join conditions
- Experience with component-based web application frameworks
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID design principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Experience designing and implementing event-based integration services using message brokers such as Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, or similar - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum
