At To the T Plumbing & Heating, LLC, our HVAC Service Technicians are essential in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to our residential and commercial clients. OBJECTIVES- Accurately diagnose HVAC system issues to determine appropriate repair or maintenance actions.
- Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Clearly explain system issues and solutions to clients, ensuring they are informed and satisfied.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Work effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring necessary parts and supplies are available.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Ability to structure tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in conveying information clearly and listening actively to others.
- Capable of guiding teams towards achieving common goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Skilled in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
- Familiarity with office software and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and business needs.
- Ability to mediate disputes and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Commitment to providing excellent service to clients and addressing their needs effectively.
- Meticulous in managing records, schedules, and administrative tasks.
- Competence in planning, executing, and overseeing projects to achieve desired outcomes.
- Upholding company values and maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in an administrative or office support role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in office management software and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, coordinate schedules, and oversee administrative staff.
- Lifting and Carrying:
Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment, with weights varying from 10 to 100 pounds. - Manual Dexterity:
Proficiency in handling tools and equipment, including the ability to push, pull, and demonstrate eye‑hand coordination. - Mobility and Posture:
Capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach above the shoulder, crouch, and crawl. - Work Environment Adaptability:
Willingness and ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, confined spaces, elevated heights, and environments with noise or vibrations. - Vision and Hearing:
Adequate near and far vision, as well as hearing abilities, are important for reading blueprints, inspecting systems, and communicating effectively in noisy environments. - Communication
Skills:
Ability to verbally communicate with team members, clients, and supervisors, ensuring clear understanding and coordination.
