Electrical Foreman

Overview

Position: Electrical Foreman Location: Denver, CO

• Oversee a crew of Electricians to complete projects under the direction of a Project Manager
• Travel to various industrial job sites within the continental United States to work on electrical construction and maintenance projects
• Utilize common electrician tools and equipment to complete tasks assigned by a Project Manager

• Experience leading a crew of 6-12 electricians
• Knowledge of and relevant industrial experience with the following:
  Reading industrial electrical wiring diagrams and control schematics;
  Troubleshooting MCC buckets;
  Installation of low and medium-voltage switch gear;
  Racking in/out medium voltage breakers;
  Testing and troubleshooting transformers
• Requires experience directing the work of others
• Electrical experience in heavy industry is preferred
• Preferred education and certification in Industrial Electricity-Electrical Power Technology or NCCER Certified Plus as an Industrial Electrician, or similar
• License as a Journeyman electrician is a plus
• Must be able to safely work in challenging and physically demanding conditions
• Will be required to work 8-12 hours/day for six or seven/days per week throughout project scopes
• Must pass eVerify, drug test, random drug testing, and have a satisfactory background check
• Travel to where the work is for several days or weeks at a time

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Should be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
• Must be able to crawl, climb, stand and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam
• Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record
• Must be available for regular overnight domestic travel and occasional international travel
• U.S. passport a plus
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights
