Journeyman Electrician

Overview

Colorado-licensed journeyman needed for electrical maintenance, service, and installation in existing commercial, industrial, and retail environments. Looking for a motivated, hard-working person to service lighting and electrical systems.

• Perform electrical maintenance, service, and installation in commercial, industrial, and retail environments.
• Read and understand commercial building blueprints.
• Install EMT conduit and MC cable; install large commercial electrical services.
• Work with general contractors and other trades on the job and manage schedules to meet deadlines.
• Be able to work at heights and perform lift or bucket work; outdoor work required.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship, work quality, and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent verbal and written communication with customers and team members.

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical ability and common sense.
• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen; initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand commercial building blueprints.
• Knowledge of commercial wiring methods.
• Ability to work with general contractors and other trades on the job.
• Advanced knowledge in the installation of EMT conduit and MC cable.
• Advanced knowledge in the installation of large commercial electrical services.
• Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
• Be able to work with heights, lift, and bucket work required.
• Friendly and customer service-minded.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's tasks may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. The job typically requires 55% sitting, 20% walking, 25% standing. The job is performed at various job sites with outdoor temperature variations and with commercial and industrial hazards.
