Description

Licensed Electrician performs journeyman-level work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, fire alarm, communication, and video systems across Coors Field and McGregor Square. This role ensures safe, reliable, and code‑compliant operations in alignment with regulatory standards while supporting the needs of the ballpark, guests, and staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical, fire alarm, and related systems, ensuring compliance with current codes and regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability and safety.
  • Install new electrical services, including conduit bending and wire pulling.
  • Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and equipment issues; diagnose problems and execute timely solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Other Duties/Responsibilities
  • Receive assignments through written or verbal instructions and carry out work according to industry standards.
  • Ensure all work is subject to inspection and meets quality expectations.
  • Oversee and coordinate contracted electrical projects and subcontractors.
  • Exercise sound judgment in emergency and high-priority situations.
  • Support both Coors Field and McGregor Square electrical needs through work orders, preventive maintenance, and projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering team members and assist in other trade areas as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours emergency response.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist on Projects, Preventive Maintenance, and Work Orders at McGregor Square as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Duties are not specifically limited to the identified areas listed above. They may be required to be on call for off-hours emergency calls.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or construction.
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of Colorado (Required).
  • Denver Fire Department Fire Safety Systems License (Required).
  • Master Electrician License (Preferred).
  • Working knowledge of lighting control systems, OSHA safety standards, and fire alarm systems (Simplex preferred).
  • Knowledge of low voltage and audio‑visual systems (Preferred).
  • Ability to interpret and review electrical drawings, plans, and submittals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF software (Preferred).
  • Skilled in operating trade‑related equipment (forklifts, lifts, carts, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance.

Working Conditions/Work Schedule
  • Regular lifting and carrying of tools and equipment up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 75 lbs.).
  • Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Regular exposure to varying weather, temperature extremes, dust, noise, and chemicals.
  • Ability to safely use hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to manipulate small parts and components in confined or hard‑to‑reach spaces.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms (e.g., turning valves, using tools, and repairing components) during routine work.
  • Ability to see clearly, read gauges, inspect equipment, and precisely complete tasks.
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions, warning signals, and environmental sounds (e.g., operating machinery, equipment, alarms, or calls for assistance).
  • Work schedule:

    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, overtime, game days, and special events as required.
  • Participation in on‑call rotation (7‑days) for emergency support.
  • Noise levels may be high at times; proper hearing protection provided.
