Responsibilities- This is a 100% travel position and you will be required to climb up to 300 ft.
- Lead daily site construction work to ensure the crew meets production goals.
- Understand and implement Mas Tec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual).
- Apply industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). - Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew.
- Oversee daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites.
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
- Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership.
- Compile all site‑specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
- Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
- Coordinate with customer representatives for site‑related activities and maintain a good working relationship.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew members.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
- Validate daily timesheets for management.
- Serve as a mentor to new less experienced technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have Welding experience (Industrial).
- Must have structural Mod experience.
- Safety is a part of your day to day.
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands‑on approach.
- You are looking for long‑term projects.
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- You demonstrate expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
- You have a working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Owning a WSA certification is a plus.
- You possess job‑related certifications – First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment.
- You have organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
- You must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company policy.
- You have the ability to maintain FDOT log books; training will be provided.
- You have the ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures.
- You recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
- You must be able to provide, record, and manage paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Must be fit and in good physical condition.
- Must have the ability to climb towers, pick up 50 lbs, and be capable of working up to 12 hours.
Compensation: $28–35 DOE
