McCarthy Building Companies is looking for Journeyman who can take on bothplumberandpipefitter responsibilities as needed to join our team in the Denver, CO and surrounding areas. This is a combo role requiring a well‑rounded professional with strong experience in both disciplines. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, and capable of bouncing between plumbing and pipe fitting tasks based on project demands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems including Heating Water, Chilled Water, Condenser Water, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Lab & Medical Gases, Refrigeration, Fuel & Oil, and High & Low-Pressure Steam.
- Encompasses all General Foreman I Roles and Responsibilities as well as the following:
- Ability to run multiple projects.
- Work with various piping materials including Steel/Carbon, Copper, PVC/PCV, Poly, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
- Perform testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Interpret and work from plans, specifications, VDC/BIM models, spool sheets, and drawings.
- Implement lockout/tag‑out procedures to ensure workplace safety.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new team members on the job site.
- Coordinate crew tasks and workflow under established procedures.
- Assist in the development, tracking, and execution of daily and weekly trade activity schedules.
- Provide direct supervision and technical guidance to crews of 9‑14 individuals.
