Job SummaryThe University of Colorado Denver is seeking a qualified Plumber to join its Facilities Management team. This position operates under the general supervision of the Trades Shop Supervisor and is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work across campus facilities. The role includes the maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of plumbing systems such as water lines, sewer systems, water heaters, softeners, and restroom fixtures.

Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and components in university buildings
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and professional manner
- Modify and upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure to meet operational needs
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and university standards
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to support campus-wide maintenance and operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service records
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver, Colorado.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of progressive experience in the plumbing industry with service and installs.
- Necessary special qualification: Must possess and maintain a current journey-level plumber license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- State of Colorado Backflow Certification
- Experience in pipe welding
- Experience fixing and maintaining equipment and machinery.
- Experience planning and laying out complete project designs.
