Mechanical/Electrical Field Service Technician - Denver, CO
Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, LLC, the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions, is hiring a Mechanical/Electrical Field Service Technician to work with our field installation teams in the Denver, CO area. The technician will install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair our industrial conveyor equipment and controls across the United States.
Required to pass a negative pre‑employment drug test (including marijuana) due to customer worksite requirements.
Responsibilities- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician with automated production equipment.
- Understand and work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Independently install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical control systems.
- Read and interpret manufacturers' drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics.
- Basic mechanical expertise; advanced skills desired.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication with engineering groups, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, drives, networks, and PLCs.
- Methodical troubleshooting approach and analytical skills.
- Travel 70%+ of the time (minimum 168 days per year), work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required; trips can be 2–3 weeks.
- Lift up to 40 lbs and climb ladders.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of or prior work with industrial conveyor systems.
- Experience with RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, Siemens Step 7, or TIA Portal.
- Installation & programming of Allen Bradley Powerflex Drives.
- Experience with barcode scanners and cameras.

Employment type:
