Job Description
The Global Security (GS) Team provides security protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of JPMorgan Chase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities worldwide. This responsibility includes developing security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, and fire and life safety.
As a Regional Security Manager within the Global Security Team in the West Region, you will lead the planning and execution of security programs at JPMorgan Chase corporate facilities in Colorado and the West Region. You will develop and implement enhanced security protocols, procedures, and policies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. Additionally, you will serve as the Global Security liaison to the line‑of‑business site leadership teams within the region and will travel with occasional overnight stays to promote programs that achieve both business and security objectives.
Job Responsibilities- Respond to incidents and coordinate staff follow‑up, including investigation and risk mitigation, in partnership with line‑of‑business management, corporate partners, and local law enforcement.
- Develop and maintain relationships and lines of communication with law enforcement agencies, key line‑of‑business partners and management, and participate in management meetings to maintain visibility and open communication; coordinate plans to mitigate known civil disturbances, protests, etc. that have proximity to or target company locations and personnel.
- Manage guard force in assigned facilities.
- Perform periodic security reviews and risk assessments at assigned facilities and conduct periodic security and personal‑safety training.
- Support security infrastructure projects at assigned properties.
- Be available for after‑hours response to emergency incidents.
- Travel occasionally to assist with corporate events security and executive protection support as needed.
- 10+ years of security management experience with corporate security, local/state/federal law enforcement, or military.
- College degree from a 4‑year accredited university.
- Hands‑on experience performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modeling, and performing security reviews.
- Advanced analytical skills, decision‑making capability, strong critical thinking, and high degree of comfort in fast‑paced dynamic/ambiguous environments operating with initiative from the strategic to tactical level.
- Strong security product knowledge and investigative experience.
- Attention to detail and delivery oriented; able to effectively plan and track to prescribed timelines; excellent follow‑through.
- Experience in information gathering, tracking and consolidation, reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
- Knowledge of physical security technology systems and strong familiarity with physical and procedural security concepts.
- Self‑starter and motivated, flexible and comfortable working with multiple competing timelines and able to operate with limited supervision.
- Effective ability to communicate concisely in speaking, writing, and leveraging Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
