You are a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Aurora, CO
. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. As this is an armed and driving position, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols in designated areas, remaining highly visible, and responding to situations as needed.

- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
- Document and communicate incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary to support security-related operations at the location.
- Maintain readiness to respond to security-related emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree is required.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
