Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Heat Pump Project Lead (Sales & Install Management), Pueblo

Blanca Electric Homes is seeking a passionate, organized, go-getter to join their growing company to own customer projects end-to-end, from first site visit through installation for homeowners in and around the Pueblo area.

About Blanca

Blanca is a husband and wife team focused on bringing heat pumps to rural, Southern Colorado. Heat pumps are the most efficient way to heat and cool a home; they save homeowners on utility bills, increase comfort and reduce indoor pollution. Yet, few people understand their benefits - Blanca Electric Homes is out to change that.

We have sold and designed hundreds of heat pumps in Denver/Boulder and we’re bringing that experience to an area with few quality heat pump installers. We have proven demand for heat pumps in Southern Colorado, proven by our install queue that is over two-months long with more referrals coming everyday.

We need help to grow our business and better serve the Pueblo region.

Why work for us?

We’re committed to treating everyone with respect and dignity - our customers and our employees. As an early-stage company, our benefits and compensation are evolving—but we are committed to fairness, transparency, growth opportunities, and building a great place to work.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time employee to join our team to serve the Pueblo region. This is a hybrid role combining in-home sales, system design, and project management. This is a commission based position with commission structured around sales and install outcomes. This role will own customer projects end-to-end—from the first site visit through final install—while working closely with subcontractors and Blanca’s internal team.

We are looking for an independent operator who will be the customer face of Blanca’s Pueblo operations. We are open to different backgrounds and levels of experience and are committed to providing training and managerial support needed to set you up for success.

This role includes three critical functions:

  • Qualify leads brought in by Blanca’s marketing
  • Conduct in-home assessments and educate homeowners on heat pump options
  • Create proposals, present recommendations, and close sales
  • Identify and support applicable rebate and incentive programs
System Design
  • Size and design home-specific heat pump solutions
  • Generate scope of works for Blanca’s contractor partners
Project & Install Management
  • Schedule and coordinate with Blanca’s contractor partners
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers
  • Manage projects from sale to completion
  • Ensure documentation, rebates, and closeout are completed
Qualifications
  • Experience with and knowledge of heat pumps, ideally at least 2 years of sales and/or install experience OR recent graduation from an accredited heat pump program
  • Previous sales experience working directly with customers in-home
  • Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle (miles will be reimbursed)
  • Personal phone (work phone number via Google Voice will be provided)
  • Ability to work 8am - 5pm with evenings and weekends if needed (not all leads are available during normal business hours)
  • Proficient computer skills with creating documents and managing a spreadsheet
  • Highly organized and able to track lots of moving pieces
  • People-oriented. We’re in people’s homes and we need to be thoughtful and conscientious.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn - we’re an early stage company! Things are changing and we’re growing fast.
  • Passionate about heat pumps and our mission to electrify underserved communities in Colorado
  • Base salary + commission structure
  • Base pay commensurate with experience
  • Uncapped commission tied to revenue and profit generated on each project
  • Expected pay $75,000 - $120,000 annually
  • Health Insurance stipend
  • 15 days PTO
  • Tools provided, including a work iPad and computer

Do you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job? If you have some of the skills and experience that we're looking for and are willing to use your talent to learn the rest, we encourage you to apply!
