What You Will Do
  • Collaborate face to face with multiple departments across the organization, including other National Investment Consultants, National Accounts representatives, Marketing, Research and Trading Teams, Product Specialists, Business Intelligence and other subject matter experts as needed.
  • Take and make phone calls, craft tailored emails, help prepare NICs for territory travel and become an expert with our systems and products.
  • Meet sales activity metrics (Calls, conference calls, meetings, follow-ups, campaign execution).
  • Track results and communicate the impact of their sales efforts in a performance-driven, goal-oriented sales culture.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of the entire suite of ALPS products and present these solutions in person, over the phone and digitally.
  • Participate in office collaboration and limited travel.
  • Raise assets, develop existing relationships, uncover new relationships and raise sales meaningfully within the territory.
  • Cover Wirehouses and advisors with a focus on growth within the RIA segment.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1-3 years in the investment industry.
  • Working knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, and portfolio construction concepts.
  • Familiarity with ETF structure, liquidity, and trading mechanics (primary vs. secondary market).
  • Excellent writing, quantitative, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance independent self-starter energy with collaborative teamwork across multiple sales campaigns.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time.
  • Positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; extensive use of internal and external systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously; prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge ideas and provide feedback from meetings and advisor conversations.
  • Embrace data and business intelligence to target opportunities and deliver results.
  • Partner with External Sales to develop territory business plans and campaign execution.
  • Proactively conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with financial advisors to support sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and track advisor meetings, roadshows, and virtual events.
  • Prepare pre- and post-meeting materials, call notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and organize a strong travel schedule with elite advisors and teams.
  • Series 7 and 63 licensed preferred or ability to obtain within two months.
