Overview
The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager develops and implements territory business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordination with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field-based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.)
to drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.
- Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience
- Strong communication skills and business acumen
- Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years medical dermatology sales experience
- Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment
- Experience promoting high-science products
- Product launch experience
- Experience selling in a highly competitive environment
This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. They should be highly motivated and professional, capable of building trust with their matrix team, and act in a transparent, ethical and compliant manner. They should be proficient at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter clearly and understandably.

General Responsibilities / Decision Making Authority- Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager
- Responsible for the understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports
- Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting
- Responsible for managing promotional budgets within their territory
- Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Reports to Regional Sales Manager
Interactions With OthersInteracts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
