Field Sales Manager
Victra is Verizon’s largest retail partner. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales activities within our Total by Verizon locations. As a Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are met and fostering strong relationships with the Exclusive Retail sub‑agents and store staff. Your strategic guidance and leadership will play a critical role in the success of our sales efforts.
Responsibilities- Primary point-of-contact for Exclusive Retail sub‑agent business partners, admins & owners/operators.
- Collaborate with sub‑agents to develop and implement sales strategies, goals, and targets to achieve or exceed sales quotas within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Exclusive Retail sub‑agents and staff to ensure effective collaboration, support, and alignment of sales objectives.
- Conduct regular documented store visits to monitor sales activities, assess performance, and provide ongoing feedback, training and development opportunities.
- Drive the adoption of sales programs, promotions, and initiatives to increase revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for sales improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the Director of Exclusive Retail & the ELT.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, operations, outside vendors and the TBV teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth.
- Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, product knowledge, and market insights to effectively coach the sub‑agents.
- Proven experience as a Field Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within the telecommunications industry working with the dealer/sub‑agent channel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a deep understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
- Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time within the assigned territory and work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Associate’s degree with 3‑5 years of retail management experience is also acceptable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Up to 75% of the time.
