Position SummaryThe Associate Sales Representative – Sales (ASR) is responsible for day‑to‑day work and overall performance supporting the Patient Care franchise with our customers in the field. The ASR works closely with their Area Manager and Service counterparts to identify, develop and implement strategic plans and programs to meet the organization’s business objectives. The ASR oversees growth and retention of our Patient Care franchise both with existing customers and in new customers, coordinating with Strategic Sales Team and Regional Sales Teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain routine communication with divisional teams to gather and share information.
- Educate and inform hospital stakeholders about benefits of SSS products and services, increasing volume of used devices collected and reprocessed devices ordered.
- Conduct in‑service education with hospital stakeholders across 24x7 shifts to promote reprocessed devices.
- Recommend solutions to maximize reprocessing program based on current customer practices.
- Analyze customer usage of devices to increase participation in Stryker’s reprocessing program and create action plan for new product sales.
- Assist with planning and execution of territory business plan based on existing and projected customer sales.
- Reinforce established relationships with key decision makers at customer level.
- Identify and coordinate new opportunities with Sales to build new business and protect existing business.
- Partner with Area Manager and Regional Managers to execute on specific franchise strategy tied to reprocessing.
- Provide data support for IDN Quarterly Business Reviews for Patient Care.
- Develop and execute commercial strategy to grow collections within Patient Care using data and performance trends.
- Monitor collection compliance, sell through and overall performance levels and evaluate results to target new business and grow market share.
- Collaborate with Sales, Strat Sales and Service to optimize contract execution and enhance customer experience during implementation.
- Take on assigned and on‑demand tasks focused specifically on Patient Care collections and growth.
- Single point of contact for Patient Care growth opportunities where guidance and strategic insight are needed.
- Coordinate with Sales Enablement to understand Patient Care products and portfolio.
- Understand process and best practices of Assessments.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and Adva Med guidelines in customer interactions.
- Manage travel expenses within Regional budget expectations.
- 4‑year college degree required.
- History of performance and achievement.
- Preferred experience selling or sales support within the industry.
- Preferred experience in hospital‑based landscape and culture.
- Excellent time management skills, independent judgment, and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work with clinical and business personnel both internally and externally.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Health benefits include medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, critical illness, and more. Base salary $57,000 plus commission and benefits.
